Shantanu Waykar is the Founder and Creative Director at S.ALT Atelier, established in 2020 with operations based in Pune, Mumbai & consulting world over.
Since 2015, Shantanu has worked with a reputed furniture & interior design studio handling luxury residential projects around Mumbai. He also has an experience of working with the largest start-up in the Interior design space, as the core team member for Mumbai & later helping them set up another office in Pune. Thus, Shantanu has acquired the reputation of a thorough creative for pushing the boundaries of approachable design, setting up processes for design businesses, & his business knowledge & client handling.
His impactful, refined & minimal sensibilities in design draw inspiration from a myriad of creative fields including art, architecture, fashion, music and hospitality, where Shantanu began his career. Thus bringing diverse sensibilities, richer customer experience and approachable connection for the clients.
He lives in his family home in Pune with his Landscape Architect wife & loves sketching & the outdoors.
Anuja Girme
Anuja Girme is a multi-disciplinary designer with expertise in Landscape Architecture.
Anuja earned her Master's in Landscape Architecture from the prestigious Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University.
Her graduate studies was marked with multiple scholarships, including the Sutton Memorial, Walter H. Kidd, and Chambers Scholarships. Her academic excellence culminated in receiving the Faculty Prize in Landscape Architecture for her outstanding research and contributions.
After graduating Anuja gained valuable international experience working with Hill Studio in Roanoke, Virginia, USA.
Anuja's landscape design and planning expertise spans a wide range of projects, including commercial campuses, luxury residential buildings, and vernacular and sustainable residential buildings and bungalows. Her specialty lies in creating robust, visually striking, and highly sustainable planting designs and palettes, not only to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces but also contribute to their overall sustainability.
Anuja's passion for design extends beyond the professional realm, with a keen interest in gardening and agricultural techniques, which further informs her approach to sustainable and nature-inspired design solutions.
